SlatCam is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information.
CAMERA SlatCam uses your camera solely to capture photos. Photos are saved directly to your device or to an iCloud Drive folder of your choosing. We have no access to your photos.
STORAGE Photos you capture remain entirely under your control — on your device or in your personal iCloud Drive. SlatCam does not upload photos to any server.
ANALYTICS SlatCam uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage signals (e.g., how often saves occur). These signals are cryptographically hashed before leaving your device and cannot be linked to you or your device. No names, email addresses, IP addresses, or device identifiers are collected. DIAGNOSTIC DATA
SlatCam uses Apple's MetricKit framework to collect crash logs and performance metrics (such as app launch time, hang rate, memory usage, and battery impact). This data is generated automatically by the operating system and stored in your personal iCloud Drive under SlatCam → Diagnostics. It is never transmitted to the developer's servers or any third party.
This data is used solely to identify and fix crashes and performance issues. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
LOCAL PREFERENCES SlatCam stores a small number of preferences on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults): the number of saves remaining in the free tier, and your chosen default save folder. This data never leaves your device.
PURCHASES In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. SlatCam does not see or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all purchase transactions.
CHILDREN SlatCam does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
CHANGES If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.

LICENSE SlatCam grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
IN-APP PURCHASES SlatCam offers a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited saves. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not issue refunds outside of Apple's process.
